Client Directed Home Care Invoicing (CDHCI)
A Government of Alberta program administered through Alberta Blue Cross® that gives Albertans the power to choose their own home care provider — funded by AHS, delivered by AEGIS Homecare.
About the Program What is the CDHCI Program?
The Client Directed Home Care Invoicing (CDHCI) program is a Government of Alberta initiative administered by Alberta Blue Cross®. It supports Albertans of all ages who require personal and home care services — funding them through AHS while giving clients the freedom to choose their own approved caregiver or agency.
Unlike traditional publicly delivered home care, CDHCI is client-directed — meaning you decide who comes into your home, when, and how your care is delivered. The program funds those hours directly to your chosen approved provider.
